Server Rules: FRAG-
No Cheating:
TTU servers will not tolerate anybody using a different program to gain an unfair advantage on TTU servers. Any wallhacks, aimbot programs, ESP, name-stealer/spammer, or any kind of cheating will result in a 90 minute ban for the first offence.
Exploitation:
The following rules TTU have come up with are as follows:
No Spawncamping although Spawnkilling is allowed.
No Trickjumping or Walljumping whether or not to do objective
No Team Pushing
No Voice Chat Spamming
No General Spam
No Advertising
Respect Everybody on the server, this includes admins and donators as well as pubbers.
No Self-Kill Spamming
No Server Flooding
Any racism, sexism, homophobic, xenophobic or any other discriminating behaviour towards others will result in harsh punishments!
No offensive names
Do not allow yourself to be scammed into paying for anything to anybody who may be impostering the TTU name - we take no responsibility if somebody has tricked you into paying for ownership when it isn’t us, please make sure it is us.
No Threatening of any type
Admin Abuse:
TTU recruits only the best of the best - but given the choice we would rather have a responsible admin rather than a good player. But as an admin you do have responsibilities its true - you are granted unique and special privileges and power on the servers you inherit admin from - it is when you abuse these privileges things begin to become serious. The system we use is to discipline irresponsible admin abuse is in order of seriousness.
Stage 1 (Petty Playground Abuse): !pop, !pip, !glow, !gib, !splat !disorient, !crybaby - Spamming these commands will give higher admins an opportunity to label you - possibly as immature so please avoid this. If you use these types of commands or any commands for that matter to gain a power advantage against others - for example !gib if somebody keeps killing you - then expect a very harsh punishment.
Stage 2 (Spam Commands): !news, ![custom command] - Commands that create noise and generally add fun to the server are enjoyable - but it is quite the opposite when admins spam them - so please avoid spamming commands that could cause irritation to fellow pubbers. This would come under the ‘No Spamming’ rule.
Stage 3 (Punishment Commands): !mute, !kick, !ban, - These commands are for external use only. These commands are intended for responsible admins who can handle a situation responsibly! They are powerful commands which can prevent pubbers from typing messages, remove pubbers from the server or prevent pubbers from reconnecting to the server once removed. These commands must be used in the correct manner. Admins who abuse these commands can expect to be removed from the clan immediately without warning. And before banning somebody, always take a screenshot of evidence of what they have done - evidence is the only thing that could save you if it comes down to an admin abuse case. And admins are reminded to use appropriate reasons for the punishment commands. Banning somebody with a smiley face for a reason or: ‘noob’ will be considered abuse of the punishment commands. If you are not aware of how punishment commands work, there is a syntax for each one below:
!mute: The !mute command is used to mute players, prevent them from typing messages on the server for a set amount of time or until you choose to “!unmute” them. This is usually used if pubbers are caught cursing or disrespecting. Syntax: For mods EtPub and No-Quarter: !mute [partial name/slot number] [seconds for mute time] [reason]. For the Jaymod mod: !mute [partial name/slot number] - With muting on Jaymod servers, it is always advised to warn the offender before muting - as you cannot state the reason for muting in the command.
!kick: The !kick command is used to remove people/kick people from the server. This is usually used for repeat offenders who have already been muted for disrespecting, or for players who have broken rules such as botting etc. Syntax for All Mods: !kick [partial name/slot number] [reason] - Please note for mods EtPub and No-Quarter usually use seconds in time, for Jaymod type ban time in minutes.
!ban: The !ban command is used for offenders who can no longer be put up with on the server. You can !ban for a fixed time or permanently depending on what type of admin you are. Syntax: !ban [partial name/slot number] [minutes(jaymod)/seconds(EtPub, No-Quarter)] [reason]. - Please note for mods EtPub and No-Quarter use seconds in time, for Jaymod type ban time in minutes.
Admins who show a good responsibility on TTU servers and seem to be good at their job will effectively be promoted to higher ranks in TTU to be granted more power and privileges. However, admins can also be Demoted for certain offences. And TTU advises that admins DO NOT ask for higher admin levels - higher admins will find this annoying and it will label you as a member who is just looking for admin not a role in a successful clan - and worst of all, it will slim your chances of actually getting promoted at all.
